February 11
                     Table Mesa to Doe Springs

Ride : 4 Hours
Level: 2
Time:  Stage at 8:00  Ride at 8:30

Description:  
This ride will take us on the Black Canyon Trail to Doe springs.  The trail is well maintained and will be an enjoyable ride.  Coming back we will cross some country and stop by a windmill hitting the trail on the way back.  Hopefully we will have had some rain to brighten up the desert.  Come join us if you can  :  ) 

Directions:  
From Phoenix, drive north via I-17 to exit 236, Table Mesa Road, turn left.  Go over the I-17 and make an immediate right onto the Frontage Road and cross a cattle guard.  You will come to a fork in 1 mile, stay to the right and follow the road past the cahin link fence enclosure.  You will come to the main fork in .5 miles, turn left.  The parking lot will be 1.2 miles and on the right hand side.  Go 1/10th of a mile to park.  watch for the GEC signs

Jack Ass Flats to China Dam VIA Jane’s Trail

Long Ride: About 3 to 4 hours – Rating 2

Description:
This ride is in the San Domingo Wash, we will visit the China Dam, VIA Jane’s Trail (short & a little steep). The ride should be about 3 to 4 hours.
Directions  #1:   Take Grand Avenue / Hwy 60 Northwest toward Wickenburg to Castle Hot Springs Road, between Mile Marker “MM” 120 &121 (this is less than one mile before Gates Road in Morristown), turn right, North, this road is paved for about 1 1/2 to 2 miles then it turns to dirt. About 1 mile further at the fork in the road (watch for the GEC Sign) you will go to the left about 1 mile, you will see parking. There are lots of places to park.
Directions  #2: Take I -17 North to Carefree Hwy (Hwy 74) turn left, West to Castle Hot Springs Road (this is just BEFORE where Hwy 74 Meets Grand Ave. / Hwy 60). Turn right, North on to Castle Hot Springs Road, this road is paved about 1 1/2 to 2 miles then it turns to dirt. About 1 mile further at the fork in the road (watch for the GEC Sign) you will go to the left, about 1 mile you will see parking. There are lots of places to park.
