Mayer Ride out from Carole Green’s House, Poker Ride and BBQ
Short Ride: 2 to 2½ hours– Rating 1 to 1½.
Ride Time: Staging 9:45, Ride 10:00 Sharp
Lunch: BBQ Pot Luck after the ride. Carole is fixing the BBQed meat. Please bring a side dish.
Ride Leader: Ben Davidson or his appointee.
Descriptions: This ride will be from Carole’s house into the Bradshaw Mountains, the ride will only be about 2 to 2½ hours. We will ride up and down some Foot Hills, Along Big Bug Creek, and collect the Poker Card before returning to the house for a “BBQ Pot Luck. The Poker Game will cost $5.00 to play with all the money being returned to the members; 75% for the best Poker hand and 25% for the second best hand. All Guest Riders are welcome to enjoy the fun, ask friends to come with you.

14th Street South of Carefree Hwy
Short Ride: About 2 to 2½ hours – Rating 1 to 1½

Description: This ride is an easy ride up and down some hill or you can go around the hills on flat desert.
Directions #1: From Bell Road and I-17 drive north to Carefree Hwy (State Road 74) turn right east to 14th street turn right south to an open area about half way to the end of road. We will have a Orange and Black GEC sign at the parking area.

Location: The Golden Corral in Glendale at 5679 W Northern Avenue, Glendale, Phone number 623-937-0866 623-937-0866 . We meet in the private meeting roon on the north end of the resturant, we eat at 6 and the meeting starts at 7 P.M. and will last about one hour.

Morgan City Wash
Short Ride: About 2 to 3 hours, Rating 1 to 1½.
Ride Time: Staging at 7:30 Ride at 8:00

Description: The ride will be in the Foot Hills on the North of Hwy 74. We will riding in the Morgan City Wash with high sides a sandy floor and end up at the ruins of the ghost town, Morgan City; maybe we will be able to find the old miner’s cemetery. We will take a short break to rest the horses and riders and have lunch before starting back. The views are fantastic and this is one ride you don’t want to miss.
Directions: From Phoenix drive north to Hwy 74 via I-17 Go west about 12.8 mile to the N. Christian Church Camp Road (may not have a road sign). Turn north and go about 1.2 miles to the parking area. Or from the Loop 303 (Lake Pleasant Road), drive West on Hwy 74 (Carefree Hwy) turn west for about 6.6 miles to the N. Christian Church Camp Road (may not have a road sign). Turn north and go about 1.2 miles to the parking area.
